America’s Boating Club Grosse Pointe is committed to supporting the boating community through hands-on service, safety outreach, and environmental stewardship on Lake St. Clair and surrounding waters.
Vessel Safety Check
We offer free Vessel Safety Checks to help ensure your boat meets safety requirements and is ready for the water. Our trained examiners review essential equipment and answer questions.
Cooperative Charting Program
Our members support accurate nautical charts by reporting discrepancies, improving navigation safety on Lake St. Clair and surrounding waters.
Life Jacket Loaner Program
We support life jacket loaner stations that provide properly sized life jackets when needed. Wearing a life jacket is one of the simplest ways to stay safe on the water.
Port Captain Program
Our Port Captains serve as local contacts for visiting boaters, providing guidance on conditions, marinas, and safe navigation in the area.
