America's Boating Club Grosse Pointe offers the America's Boating Course throughout the year. By enrolling in the America's Boating Course you will learn basic boating knowledge on deciding what type and size boat you need, navigation rules, what to do when meeting another boat in a crowded waterway, how to recognize and handle hazards, water sports safety and other valuable boater safety skills. 

Successful completion of this course meets the boating education requirements for operator permits of licensure in most states. This boating course is recognized by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete America's Boating Course.
